Staff in training
The SIT Program
The Staff in Training program will train and prepare future staff. Participants will be able to develop as leaders, learn 'behind-the-scenes' of camp, and be mentored by LRCC staff.
The SIT program will consist of a two-week program that participants can attend.
The program will have SITs focus their first week on leadership development, learning the ropes of camp, and growing in their faith. The second week, the SITs will participate in a cabin and be mentored by a few counselors, lead songs and games, and get some hands-on experience in the camp program.
The first session will be from June 28th, 2026 until July 10th, 2026. The second session will be from July 12th, 2026 until July 24th, 2026.
SITs may have the opportunity to stay or return after the two-week program for other weeks of program depending on staffing needs, camper numbers, and performance during the program.
