El Camino Pines Outdoor School is a three, four, or five-day residential program that emphasizes environmental education and community-building experiences for elementary and middle school students. Our classes cover several disciplines in the natural, physical and social sciences. Students enjoy learning in a beautiful outdoor setting while growing together in community.
El Camino Pines Outdoor School provides the entire program. Your school chooses the classes they would like to take from our diverse curriculum of over 30 classes. We work in cooperation with your school to design a program that is best suited to the needs of your students. Our program incorporates California State and Common Core Educational Standards and is updated on a regular basis. For religious schools, Christian beliefs and principles are incorporated into each class.
Our instructors have college-level education, camp experience, specialized training in environmental education, and First Aid/CPR/AED certifications. They are carefully screened to meet American Camp Association guidelines and have experience working with children. Background checks are mandatory for all staff. We strive to create an environment where students feel comfortable to learn and explore in an outdoor setting.
