Men's Advance at El camino Pines

What can YOU learn from this Weekend?

1. How to see Control as different from Strength.

2. What makes one humble, while being strong?

3. How do we access the power that comes to us from the Holy Spirit to serve in both Strength and Humility, as Jesus did?

Serving others is one of the central themes of Jesus Ministry. We are freed by grace to live faithfully, witness boldly and serve joyfully. How do we find the time and strength to serve? During this years Men’s Advance Rev. Marsha Harris will share her experience on serving others and facilitate discussion on how we can find the strength to serve.

This years Men's Advance speaker is...

Rev. Marsha Harris

Rev. Marsha Harris serves as Pastor and administrator of Central Lutheran Church in Van Nuys, working both with people experiencing homelessness and with housed people living in poverty. Her career didn’t start there – but rather in humble tasks of lay ministry. She served in a wide range of capacities during the nearly 30 years she working in City and Regional Planning, business development and management and non- profit and advocacy work before God called her to ordained study and work.

Pastor Marsha knows from experience: Strength comes from serving others so that they are raised up and empowered, and God is glorified.
